Psoriatic Arthritis
Psoriatic arthritis like most forms of arthritis causes swelling and pain in joints. However the inflammation is accompanied by a silvery scaly rash on the skin. Along with affecting knees, ankles, fingers, toes, tendons and ligaments it has its effect on the back also.
